Shirley Pardell, 89, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2005 in Albuquerque. She was born on October 25, 1916 to Morris and Lena (Valensky) Lappin of Russia. Shirley was self-employed owning her own employment agency, had her real-estate license, and was a graduate of UNM which she received late in life while raising her child. She had an artistic flare to her, and played Mae West in the early 70's with several theatre companies. Shirley enjoyed her life and enjoyed her close knit friends. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Pardell of Albuquerque. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale SE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
