Kathryn Barfied Easter died Friday , November 18, 2005, due to pancreatic cancer. She and husband, Bill retired from the Chicago area, where she taught elementary school and initiated a program for the gifted. She is survived by her husband; sons, Pope and Ellis and their families; a sister, Sally; stepsons, Paul, Brian, and Patrick Easter and their families; and her dearly beloved nine grandchildren. A Requiem will be offered at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2005. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
