Avenicio Lovato Jr. went home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2005 at the age of 79. He was born on November 10, 1926 in Bernalillo, NM. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Virginia Lovato; sons, Michael Gallegos and wife, Ruby Chavez and Louis Lovato and Veronica Hernandez; daughter, Jeanette Gonzales and Eddie Gallegos; brothers, Henry Pineda and wife, Maria, Tony Lovato and wife, Helen, Eli Lovato and wife, Judy, Faustine Lovato and wife, Anita, Gilbert Lovato and wife, Elenor, Albert Lovato and wife, Ramona and Bobby Lovato and wife, Virginia; sisters, Sally Eiler, Gloria Hunt and husband, Frank, Frances Frank and husband, Ray, Sophie Fernandez and Emily Lovato; grandchildren, Dominic and Chantel, Ashley, Heaven, and Anthony; and great-grandchildren, Carlos and David. Avenicio will be deeply missed by all. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin Church. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Michael Gallegos, Louis Lovato, Anthony Abeyta, Bencomo Arnold, Eddie Gallegos and Matt Lucero.
