Betty Edith Linke, 72, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Mrs. Linke passed away November 13, 2005. The daughter of Jim Wilk Stephens and Edith Mooney Stephens, Betty was born in Darrington, WA. She graduated High School in Everett, WA and married Marvin Dale Linke in 1952. She moved to Los Alamos, NM with her family and worked for the Los Alamos National Laboratory until her retirement in 1990. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Marvin D. Linke; two sons, Paul Linke and his wife, Cindy, Michael Linke and his wife, Terry; two daughters, Kathleen Davis and her husband, Rick, Janet McFarling and her husband, Dennis; five grandchildren, Kevin Linke, David Linke, Nicholas Linke, Sean McFarling, and Molly Alvarado; three step-grandchildren, Steve Tartaglia, Kacie Tartaglia, and Nathan Davis. Private family Services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2005. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM.
