Maurice B. (Duck) Taunton, born April 4, 1927 in Farmerville, Louisiana; died November 2, 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by two daughters; Cheryl Hedman and Danette Taunton, of Colorado, one son; Dale Taunton, of California, one brother; Max Taunton, of Louisiana; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grand children. In addition, he is survived by his dear friend and mother of his children Dorothea N. Crutchfield. Duck attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA., served in the Navy during WWII, and retired as a driver for ABF (Navajo Freight Lines) after 32 years to play many years of golf. Now he is making those "Hole's in One" that he knew he could do. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 pm, November 6, 2005 at Carestone Assisted Living, 7101 Eubank Blvd. NE., Albuq., NM.
