Pedro. Mr. Pedro Marez, 72, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 27, 2005. Mr. Marez is the beloved husband to Mrs. Carmen Marez, married for 22 years. Mr. Marez is survived by his children, Pete Marez Jr. and Erlinda Gonzales, Cynthia (Cindy) Marez and Mary Lovato, Kathy Marez and Sandra Gonzales, Betty Zamora and husband, Michael, Tommy Gutierrez, Dommy Gallegos and Jean Elliott, Alex Gutierrez and wife, Therese and Crystal Lovato; two brothers, Tony Marez and wife, Grace, Tito Marez and wife, Theresa; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Marez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict. A visitation for Mr. Marez will be Tuesday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Alex and Susie Gonzales. A final visitation for Mr. Marez will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino de San Martin SW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Anthony Bolman. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Army. Pallbearers will be, Mario Marez, Manuel Marez, Josh Marez, Eric Gallegos, Anthony Zamora and Christopher Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be, Angelo James Marez and Ryan J. Lovato.
