Obituary for KENNEDY

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday October 18, 2005

M. L. "Ken" Kennedy died unexpectedly at home, at the age of 79, on October 13, 2005. Ken was a retired General Contractor and built many houses in and around the Los Lunas area. He was known for the quality of his workmanship. He is survived by his wife, Coralie "Cody" Kennedy; daughter, Gay Lea Fotheringham (Dean); and sons, Gary (Becky), Steven (Dorene), and Terry (fiancee Sarah Youtz); 17 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Nyla Joy Guernsey (Arden); and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken loved his family and was beloved by them. He liked to fish and travel. He loved people and never knew a stranger. After his retirement he passed around his "business cards" to everyone he met. They were amusing and gave people a laugh. His services will be held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Los Lunas on James Street at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice, in Ken's name. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
