Andrew Leandro Esquibel was born March 9, 1978 and died unexpectedly on September 26, 2005. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Gregorio Esquibel and grandparents, Valentin and Helen Sais and Leandro Esquibel. Andrew is the beloved son of Valentin and Priscilla Sais, the brother of Jason Esquibel and fiancee, Rachel. He is survived by his grandmother, Eloisa Esquibel; aunts, Susie Trujillo, Sadie Hawkins (Tom); and uncles, Michael Esquibel (Estella), Juan Esquibel (Evelyn); and numerous other relatives. In addition, he leaves behind extended family members very close to his heart: Sarah and Shanna Maes and Jakie, James and Debbie King; and last but not least, his cat, Harley. He leaves behind innumerable friends that will miss him dearly. Andrew was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 12812. He loved life, music and was devoted to his family. Viewing for Andrew was on Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Garcia Mortuary - 8th and Stover SW, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese of the Little Flower - Fourth St. and Mildred. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by Fr. Ron Carillo at St. Therese Church at 10:00 a.m. Friday followed by internment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Jason Esquibel, Jakie King, James King, Daniel Castillo, Sean Griffin, and Ivan Garcia. Many others will serve as honorary pallbearers. We will miss you Andrew - may the angels lead your soul into paradise!!
