Richard Leroy Oldemeyer, 53, of Albuquerque, died Monday, September 26, 2005 at his home. He was born July 1, 1952 in Denver, CO, the son of Richard and Martha Oldemeyer. He married Sandy Navarro in Albuquerque. He was a member of the Silver Eagles Riding Club. He worked for KR Swerdfeger Construction Company. Survivors include his wife of Albuquerque; one son and one daughter; Mark (Jamie) Oldemeyer, Parker, CO; Amanda Oldemeyer, Pueblo; grandchildren; Carson, Connor, and Cailey; sisters; Vickie (Bob) Kjera; Connie (Tim) Mikita; Cheri (Mark) Gully; Carrie (Bill) Oaks; all of Colorado; step-father Bob Mattson, Broomfield, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. at French Mortuary -Westside Chapel. Friends may visit French Mortuary-Westside Chapel on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mortuary. Cremation will follow. Reception will follow at Ned's on the Rio Grande, 1100 Rio Grande Blvd NW.
