Obituary for MUELLER

Daniel Patrick Mueller, age 81, longtime aviation business owner in Albuquerque, died Monday, September 26, 2005. He was born March 16, 1924 to Albert Joseph and Dora Grady Mueller. Dan was an aviator and served in the Army Air Corp. in WWII and served in El Paso, TX. He was the last of "The flying Cowboys" of the four Mueller Brothers. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents and by his first wife, Shirley Lynch-Mueller. Daniel is survived by his second wife of 12 years, Joanne Kane-Mueller; ten children, Florence Gillespie, Euganie Young, Therese Mueller, Dan Mueller, Jr., Kevin Mueller, Michael Mueller, Anita Fleischman, Lorica Aszal, Liese Hottenroth, and Patrick Mueller; five stepchildren; and 29 grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 28, 2005, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 29, 2005, 11:00 a.m., at Prince of Peace Catholic Community with Father Mike Shea, Celebrant. Inurnment will take place at the National Cemetery in El Paso, TX on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Casa Angelica Home, 5629 Isleta Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
