Claire A. Humphrey, age 90, passed away Monday, September 26, 2005. Born Claire Ann Bird, April 29, 1915 in Perth Amboy, NJ, she married William G. Humphrey, June 27, 1938. After his death in 1978 she moved to Albuquerque to be with her family. Claire is survived by her daughters, Claire Garner and her husband, Jimmy Garner (who always brought a smile to her face) and Peg Cronin and her husband, Richard Cronin. She was the beloved grandmother to Susan and John Cronin. Claire made and kept friends easily. She was a passionate Democrat and always helpful to those in need. Mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1998. We are grateful she is now at peace. We would like to thank the outstanding staff and caregivers at Manzano del Sol; your care and kindness will always be remembered. Cremation has taken place and there will be a family memorial service at a later date.
