Yolanda Maria Barela went home to be with the Lord on September 26, 2005 at the age of 50. She was born on October 21, 1954 in Ft. Summer, NM. Yolanda is survived by her husband, Greg Barela; father, Juan Maes Jr.; daughter, Leilani Reed and husband, James; brother, Rudy Maes and wife, Erma; sister, Wanda Rodriguez and husband, Oscar; her grandchildren, Kanani Barela and Kaylin Reed; and her nieces, Vinessa Rodriguez and Emerald Maes. Yolanda will be missed by all. A Memorial Rosary will be held on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will her nephews, Vincent Maes, Oscar Rodriguez Jr., R.J. Maes and Dominic Maes. Honorary pallbearers will also be her nephews, Jonathan Maes, Jeremy Maes, and James Maes.
