Isabel C. Armijo, 76, went to rest with the Lord September 26, 2005. She retired from the Employment Security Commission after 32 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Henrietta Chavez. She is survived by her husband, Diego M. Armijo; son, Felix Anthony Armijo of Los Chavez, NM; sister, Mercy Fusco and husband, Joe, of Albuquerque; and grandson, Michael Armijo of Albuquerque. A Rosary was recited on Wednesday evening at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be John Fusco, Ron Satriana, Ray Ortega, Edward Maestas, Allan Gonzales, and Ernest Sanchez Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Armijo and Erick Ortega.
