Ralph Vernon Short, 89, passed away on September 13, 2005. He was born on October 8, 1915 in Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Enid, a daughter, Donna Ambos and husband, Brooks; two grandchildren, Vernon Ambos and wife, Dana and Brooksene Ambos; and four great-grandchildren, Madison, Emelia, Cole and Ian. He was employed by Lovelace Hospital as a comptroller for many years. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 22 at the Covenant United Methodist Church, 8510 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, 87113, with Reverend Brooks Ambos, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Covenant United Methodist Church for the Katrina Hurricane Relief Fund.
