James Anthony Marks, 67, died on Friday, September 16, 2005. Jim was born June 19, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, to Rosemary O'Brien and Floyd Cecil Marks. He is survived by his wife, Jerri Marks of Albuquerque; children, Jeannine White, Matthew Marks and wife, Vanessa, and Lizabeth Wright and husband, Dwaine; stepchildren, Kristen Castillo and husband, John, David Hanson and wife, Mary, and Jennifer Salazar and husband, John; grandchildren, Heather, Kristen, and Robyn Marks, Chaselyn and Donovan Hanson, Zachary and Joshua Castillo, Amber and Adam Wright and Paul Schultz; brothers, Jack Marks and Donald Marks; sisters, Patricia Corbey and Nancy Owen. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Thomas Marks, and first wife, Roberta Marks. In addition to the love for his family, Jim was an avid golfer who hit a bucket every day, played a round or two every week and entertained those around him with his dry sense of humor. As he passes to the next great fairway in the sky, he leaves behind the memories, the love and the humor. We love you and we will miss you. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary one hour prior to service time for viewing.
