Obituary for BAILEY

Marguerite Barbieri Bailey passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2005. She was born in Albuquerque, May 8, 1922. In 1955, after her marriage to Donald J. Bailey, Sr., they moved to San Antonio, TX. He preceded her in death in September 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Domenico and Caterina B. Barbieri. She was a graduate of the old Albuquerque High School and attended Western Business School. Marguerite was an accountant for many years for Montezuma Wholesale/Kimbell's Grocery in Albuquerque. She later owned and operated a children's shop in San Antonio, TX for many years. Marguerite is survived by her son, James D. Bailey, Jr. and wife, Mary; grandsons, JD Bailey, III and Robert James Kinsey both of San Antonio, TX; brother, Johnny D. Barbieri; sisters, Rose Barbieri, Mary Yolanda Hewitt, Virginia Mayfield and Albina Mock; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, all of Albuquerque. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dan Mayfield, Michael Mayfield, Cathy Powers, Jim Powers, James Hewitt, Nick Hewitt, Alan Mock, Carl Mock, David Mock and Steven Mock.
