Marjorie Isenberg Rose, age 78, of Albuquerque, NM former resident of Lafayette, IN, died on September 12, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul O. Rose. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Kilgo and husband, Riley, of Albuquerque and her son, Fred Holmes and his wife, Stephanie of Midland, TX. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Sean Kilgo and Timothy Holmes of Albuquerque and Michelle Holmes of Midland, TX. Marjorie was born on August 23, 1927 in Tyrone, PA. She graduated from Purdue University in 1949 and attended graduate school. Upon graduation, she was employed by Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. Marjorie then became Cafeteria Manager of Senior High School in West Lafayette, IN. In Albuquerque, she was employed by UNM Hospital for 18 years as a Dietitian Assistant, retiring in 1994. She was most recently employed by the Specialty Shop and also taught cookie-making classes. Marjorie loved baking and cooking for family and friends. She won numerous awards for baking from the New Mexico State Fair. Most recently she was a judge at the State Fair in the cookie division. Marjorie was a lifetime member of the Purdue Alumni Association and A.A. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
