Leroy Gibbs, 84, went to be with our Lord on August 31, 2005. He was born on August 29, 1921. He served in the Army during WWII and received a purple heart and honorable discharge. He worked for Navajo Freight Lines for many years. He was a loving daddy. And he will be missed "Mucho" "Mucho". He was preceded in death by his mother, Artie; his father, R.J.; his sister, Hazel; and his son, Roy Lee,. He is survived by his daughter, Artie Gibbs of Albuquerque; his son, Marty; daughter-in-law, Becky; and grandchildren, Kirk, Erick, and Ragina of Washington State. Also, Joe Stewart and wife, Deanna of Albuquerque; and Mary Lou and her husband, Miguel Gonzales of Albuquerque; sister Adele Repp of Albuquerque, brother R.J. Gibbs of Colorado; sister, Estelle Yerbich of Albuquerque, and Fred Gibbs and wife, Sharon of Belen; numerous nieces and nephews ; and great friends, Josie and Albert Serna. Visitation Tuesday, September 6, 2005, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, 505-843-6333. Graveside Service at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
