George Finnemore went home September 1, 2005 after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his son, Rick and is survived by his wife, Gloria; his son, Chris; five grandchildren, Kristy Ferguson and husband, Chris; Heidi Salazar and husband, Dion; Devery, Darren and Kiley Kartchner; three great-grandchildren, Nicole, Zack and Alexis. He served in the Air Force for 20 years, then civil service at Kirtland. After retirement his life revolved around playing golf.
