Teresita Ophelia Garcia "Phillie", was born in Las Vegas, NM, April 13, 1921. She passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2005 in Albuquerque where she resided for most of her life. Phillie retired from Sunbell of Albuquerque, where she worked as a jeweler. She thoroughly enjoyed riding the bus all over Albuquerque. Phillie is survived by her sister, Carmene Romero; nieces and nephews, Stella, Charlene "Charli" and Ed; grand-nieces and -nephews, Rick, Ray, Theresa, Mitchell, Ed Jr., and Chris; special grand-niece, Debbie Denise Tallant; great-grand-nieces and -nephews; and great-great-grand-nieces and -nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 2:00pm., with burial following.
