Nancy Mayland Cole, born June 29, 1940, was unexpectedly called by her Lord on August 13, 2005, to join her father, Jennings Lewis Mayland; her mother, Dorothy Blinn Mayland; and her sister, Janet Mayland Lindberg. She is survived by her sister, Lois Mayland; her three sons, Jeffrey Reuben, Stephen Jennings, and Kevin Lee; Stephen's wife, Katie, and their twin daughters, Avery Claire and Madison Elizabeth. Nancy was a loving mother and grandmother. A longtime elementary school teacher with APS, she invested her life in the lives of others. Nancy loved and was loved by her friends and family alike, and she will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at St. Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Place NE. Her sister and sons request that in lieu of flowers, you please make contributions in her spirit and name to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
