Tom, 63, of Rio Rancho, NM died August 11, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Emily Sue Shields; two sons, Thomas Shields of Chicago, Michael Shields of Texas; mother, Cynthia Shields of Church Road; two step daughters, Robin and Dawn; step son Chuck; three brothers, Robert Shields of North Carolina, Eugene Shields of Maryland, Wayne Shields of Wilsons; sister, Joyce Mahon of Church Road; four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy (Rt 60), Powhatan. Interment private.
