Obituary for SIEVERT

Debra Sievert, 52, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Paul Sievert; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Katie Sievert; mother, Gladys Davidson, all of Albuquerque; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Wayne Brummett of Placitas and T.Ree and Steven Snow of Shreveport, LA; God-sister, Coco Emberson and her husband, Ian of Kauai; nephew, Chad Brummett; nephew, Eric Brummett and his wife, Kelly of Albuquerque; nephews, Andrew and Luke Snow of Shreveport, LA; and great-niece, Emily Brummett of Albuquerque. Special love and thanks to her "Hot Tub Troop." Debra was an APS physical education teacher for twenty-nine years. She taught at Kennedy Middle School for twenty-four years and at Highland and Eldorado High School earlier in her career. Debra received a variety of state and national awards during her twenty-nine year career and was honored to have the Albuquerque Public School Board dedicate the Kennedy Middle School Gynasium in her memory. Services will be held at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE at 6 p.m. August 13, 2005. A reception will follow at the home of Mary and Wayne Brummett to celebrate the joy Deb brought into our lives.
