Obituary for HENDREN

Ramona R. Hendren, age 94, passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, August 9, 2005. Ramona R. Hendren was born July 2, 1911 in Clayton, in the Territory of New Mexico. She was a direct descendent of the Original Spanish Pioneer Settlers that came to the Territory of New Mexico before Statehood in 1912. She was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari, NM. Surviving Ramona R. Hendren are three daughters: Elizabeth Hendren of Rio Rancho, NM, Katherine Schmucker and husband, Art of Topeka, KS, Rita Feigl and husband, Tom of Orland Park, IL; four sons: Rev. Fr. Lucian C. Hendren of Albuquerque, NM, W. S. (Bert) Hendren and wife, Rosalee of Denver, CO, Philip Hendren and wife, Patsy of Albuquerque, NM, and Vincent Hendren and wife, Kathy of Minneapolis, MN; 19 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by by her husband, Lucian Hendren in 1989; and by three children; and two grandchildren; and by two sisters. Rosary will be recited in the Dunn Memorial Chapel on Sunday evening, August 14, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Monday morning 10:00 a.m. in the St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Lucian Hendren and Rev. Fr. Leo Padget as Celebrants. Pall Bears will be Vincent Hendren Jr., Joseph Hendren, Keith Hendren, Chris Hendren, Louis A Hendren, Mark Feigl. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Dr. Terrence D. Reagan, Henry Bud Winsor, Roy Davidson, and Tom Feigl. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a Memorial Mass on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in the San Ysidro Catholic Church at Corrales, NM.
