Esther S. Romero, born May 6, 1926, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 10, 2005. She is survived by her daughters, Carmen Lueras and husband, Patrick of Los Lunas, Mary Hilda Garcia and husband, Albert of Albuquerque, Veronica Arellano of Santa Ana, CA, Rita Hayes of Los Lunas; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Romero of Albuquerque; sons, Chris Romero, Jr. of Albuquerque and Jerry Romero of Albuquerque; sisters, Frances Gurule of Los Lunas and Rosie Ramirez of Valinda, CA; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Romero was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Romero and daughter, Julia Shetabi. Rosary will be recited Friday, August 12, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Communion Service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter NE with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
