Joe D. Fulmer, 95, passed away at a local hospital on August 8, 2005. Mr. Fulmer was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie and daughter, Modene. He is survived by his wife, Edna; daughter, June Marie Fulmer; sons, Joe Fulmer and wife, Erin, and James Fulmer and wife, Leticia; and by eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Joe came to Albuquerque in 1952, he was a deacon at Crestview Baptist Church for 50 years. Joe retired from Sandia National Labs in 1972 as a carpenter. Joe was a master gardener throughout his life and noted for his sweet corn. In addition to his gardening Joe enjoyed wood working. Funeral Service for Mr. Fulmer will be Friday, August 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Crestview Baptist Church, with Rev. David Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens.
