Henry Demers (Papa Bear), 77 of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2005. Born in Dracut, MA, he lived in Albuquerque from 1965 - 1988. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He moved to Phoenix in 1988 and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Henry was a contractor, loving husband and a great dad. He is survived by his daughters, Connie Miller and Colette Martin; son-in-law, Jim Miller; son, Marc Demers; brothers, Father Raymond Demers, Maurice Demers and Marcel Demers; grandsons, Christopher and Ryan Martin; and granddaughter, Crystal Shipp of Albuquerque. A visitation and Rosary Services was held on Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. A Requiem Mass was held on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 750 E. Baseline Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Arrangements were handled by Messinger Indian School Mortuary. Graveside Services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 9500 Paseo Del Norte NE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
