Katherine New passed away on August 5, 2005. She was born in Pleasant Hill, Missouri August 15, 1912 to W.P and Elizabeth Reid. Her husband, Clarence, and parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis LaBarr (Clarence) and Nancy Bashford (Arthur); and son, Donald (Sally); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Preston Reid (Maryanne) and George Reid (Betty); and by her sister-in-law, Laura Reid; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at: Sombra del Monte Christian Church 2528 Utah Street NE, Albuquerque
