Billie Lee, of Albuquerque 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2005. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margie, just six weeks ago on June 26, 2005. He was a wonderful husband, father, and "Papa" and will be greatly missed. Although he married our Mom and was our step-father, he was the best Dad ever, and we are all so thankful that God put him in our lives. He is survived by his "kids" Lorraine and David Sanchez, Joyce and Charlie Bart, Bridget Montoya, Babbette and Howard Van Devender, and Donny Smith; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; niece, Kay and Kent Havens; nephew, Gary and Marie Harrell; and many other family and friends. "We love you Daddy, kiss Mom for us." Viewing Wednesday August 10, 2005 from 11:00 to 4:30 and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Arrangements are in the care of Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 225 San Mateo NE. 764-9663. Our Dad was an Air Force Veteran and him and Mom were the best truck-drivers ever. You could never separate them. They were always together.
