Obituary for FRITZ DE LA ORTA

Gustavo Otto Fritz de la Orta went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2005 after a long illness. He was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on December 19, 1931. Among his many accomplishments, Otto authored 23 books, including three history books, one being a history of New Mexico. Otto had earned PhDs, one in Civil Engineering and another in Philosophy. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Virginia Cobos de Fritz; his children, Otto Jr., Imgard, Humberto Jesus, Sofia Alejandra, Juan Miguel, and Sofia Victoria; ten grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Sandia Baptist Church, Monday, August 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.
