Juan Rey Torrez, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, passed on to be with Our Lord on July 30, 2005. Juan was born to Porfiria Trujillo and Pedro Torrez on January 6, 1930. Juan is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Candelario (Lalo) Torrez. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Clotilde Otero Torrez; two sons, Anthony and Amos Torrez; one sister, Ricarda Archibeque; three brothers, Melchor Torrez of Rowe, NM, and Polo and Alfred Torrez, both of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Audrey, Andrea, and Desiray; and two great-grandchildren.
