Gilbert J. Martinez, age 47, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, July 28, 2005. Preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Cornelia Martinez, he is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Benjamin Martinez Jr., Pricilla Lucero and husband, Benny, Pedro Martinez, Jenny Baca, Melva Velarde and husband, Sam, Mary B. Nieto and husband, Bill, Michael Martinez, and Patrick Martinez; many loving nieces and nephews; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. The viewing and Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel on Tuesday, August 2, 2005. The viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the Funeral Service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST.
