Rita Marie Christensen, 84, a lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, died Sunday, July 24, 2005. Rita is survived by her husband, Leslie Christensen; daughter, Jeanne Christensen; son-in-law, Barry Schuster; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Vicki Christensen; and two grandchildren, Carl Christensen and Stacy Miller. Rita and Leslie spent many of their 63 years together building and living in their house they built in Baltimore. She also had many fond memories of the two of them going ballroom dancing all over Baltimore with many of their friends. She especially loved crocheting many different and beautiful items. Rita was a member of American Turners and Woodhome Senior Center. Rita and her husband Leslie moved to Albuquerque in 2003 to be closer to their children. As per her request, cremation has taken place. French Mortuary assisted all arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at John Hopkins, 401 North Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231.
