Gloria Maria, age 71, beloved mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2005, after a long illness with Parkinson. Gloria is survived by her loving children, Lt. Col. Norberto Fierro, Jr. and wife, Marie of Helotes, TX, Ida Maria Fierro, Marian Lucero-Barner and husband, John, and Mariano Lucero II; her precious grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Juan, Andress, Vanessa, Adrian, Catherine, Mariah, Jacqueline, Mariano III, Jacob, Michaela, and Jonathan; one great-grandson, Jerome. Gloria will be greatly missed by her loving family. On behalf of the Immediate family, sincere appreciation is extended to the entire staff at Ladera Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, for the love, kindness, and support expressed while Gloria was in their care. A Rosary will be recited Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo; followed by the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the Ladera Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 5901 Ouray Rd., NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
