Wanda J. Stone, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died Friday, July 15, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Arthur C. Stone; two children, Donna Haggerty and husband, Robert of Albuquerque and Stuart Stone and wife, Barbara of Santa Rosa, CA; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, H. Kay Preston and wife, Rosemary of Roswell, NM; and many friends. Wanda was born on November 19, 1919 in Electra, TX and graduated from Dexter High School in Dexter, NM. She also attended New Mexico Normal University in Las Vegas, NM. Wanda married her high school sweetheart, Arthur Stone, on May 29, 1941. She accompanied him on his many assignments with the United States Air Force. Wanda was a loving wife, wonderful mom and a devoted "Muz" to her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
