Obituary for RODWAY

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Friday July 15, 2005

William J., 83, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 12, 2005 and is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Irene; three sons, Bill, Robert, and David; one granddaughter, Indira; and a community full of loving friends. Dad was a decorated WWII Navy veteran who saw enemy action at Omaha Beach in 1945 as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class. He was an accomplished bowler with either hand, and an avid golfer who had the pleasure of a hole-in-one at age 79. William was a devoted member of his church, and in honor of his wishes he will be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held at the East Gate Four Square Church at 12120 Copper NE on Monday, July 18, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Dad truly was an all-American father, and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Your sympathy and thoughtfulness will always be greatly remembered and deeply appreciated. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
