Rosada Simon, age 97, a resident of Albuquerque since 2001, born in Rock Island, IL, grew up in Chicago, and passed away July 6, 2005. She is preceded by husband, Jacob Simon, who she lived with in St. Louis for 59 1/2 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, Toby L. Simon, MD and his wife, Elisa, of Albuquerque, whom she was a devoted mother to; two grandchildren, Ethan Simon and wife, Nina of Albuquerque, and Michelle Simon of Brookline, MA; one great-grandson, Joshua Simon. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Judith Adina Simon. Graveside Services at United Hebrew Cemetery in St. Louis, MO at 11:00 a.m. July 8, 2005. Memorial Services will be held at the Simon residence at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2005. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Montebello Health Care, Dr. Greenbaum, and Vista Care Hospice for their dedicated care and kindness.
