Obituary for LEEN

Dennis Leen, age 92, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home with his family on Saturday, July 2, 2005. Mr. Leen was born in New York City and graduated from NYU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Foreign Service Reserve officer with the State Department working at USAID. He served with the State Department in India, Panama, Washington D.C. and Vietnam. He retired to Albuquerque in 1972. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Adelaide; his children, Loretta, Lorraine, Dennis, Jr. and Theresa; grandchildren, Griffin, Melissa, Hillary, Jennifer and Michael. Mr. Leen was preceded in death by his siblings, Frank, Julia, James and Edward. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 9, 2005, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Father Tom Zotter, presiding.
