Pete Young Valenzuela, 88, was born April 16, 1917, and passed away Friday, July 1, 2005, in his home after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Madelena; his children Pete Jr., Roger, Theresa, Phillip and wife, Patsy, Juanita and husband, Leonardo Gallegos, Anita and husband, Darrell Cole; brothers and sisters, Gregorio, Ray, Bernice, Eufacia and husband, Tomas Torres, Melcor and wife, Mary, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Leonardo Gallegos Jr., Phillip Valenzuela Jr., Steven Llamas, John Perrone, Michael Valenzuela, and Michael Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Cole and Leonardo Gallegos Sr. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
