Obituary for DAVIS

Charles W. "Chuck" Davis, 70, a resident of Albuquerque, was born in Shinnston, WV in 1934, and died on Monday, June 6, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Twyla; daughter, Kelly Virostko and husband Edward of Albuquerque; son, Kevin Davis and wife Susan of Albuquerque; two granddaughters, Madison and Brittany Virostko; and two grandsons, Dylan and Chad Davis, all of Albuquerque; and sister, Geraldine Floyd of Columbus, OH. Chuck was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served from 1955 to 1957. He was an avid fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers, a 25-year New Mexico Lobo season ticket holder and a member of the Lobo Club. Chuck enjoyed playing golf with his friends, watching his grandsons play baseball, and his granddaughters play soccer. He was also a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Upon retirement in 2003 as a financial analyst, he worked alongside his son in the family business. A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home on Saturday, June 11, 2005 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 90790, 87199-0790.
