Jamesray Patricio Chavez, 17, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005. Jamesray was born April 19, 1988 the son of Jeff Rodriguez and Marcella Chavez in Crown Point, NM. He was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church of Rio Rancho; a student of Rio Rancho High School; he liked to lift weights, listen to music, jog, go four wheeling, writing lyrics, draw, camp, skate board, joke around, and play pool. Jamesray is survived by his mother, Marcella Chavez; and his father, Jeff Rodriguez; sister, Angel Rodriguez; and his brother, Valentino Chavez. The Visitation will be held today, Thursday, June 9, 2005 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho. The Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2005 at 12:00 Noon at the Calvary Chapel of Rio Rancho, 138 Frontage Rd. NE, Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Matt Romero, Valentino Chavez, Davie Garcia, Luciano Chavez, Jeff Rodriguez, and Roy Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tomas Garcia, Robert Garcia, and Adam Benavidez. In lieu of flowers, it has been suggested that memorial donations be made to the Jamesray P. Chavez memorial fund, through the Wells Fargo Bank.
