Mary I. Trujillo, age 82, passed on to a better life, Thursday, June 2, 2005. Mary was born February 4, 1923 to Ignacita and Alfonso Lujan. She was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Montoya; daughters, Antonia Montoya and Lena Trujillo; she is survived by her sons, Johnny Montoya of Santa Fe, Michael Trujillo of Chimayo, and Ernest Trujillo of Albuquerque; daughters, Elsie Ruiz and husband Joe of Santa Fe, Christine Mendoza and husband Ramon of Hobbs, Gloria Whegham and husband Tomas, Maria Trujillo and husband Fernando; sister, Mary M. Smith; brother, Joe Lujan and wife Flora; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
