Frances D. Miller, 82, a resident of Edgewood, NM, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2005. She is survived by her children: daughter, Linda Sparling, son, Tim Miller, both of Edgewood, and daughter, Lorraine Taylor and husband, KP of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Marcella Baca and husband, Owen, of Los Lunas, NM; grandsons, Robert Tyler and wife, Jessica, Timothy Michael Tyler and wife, Dessive, and Derek Taylor, all of Albuquerque, and William Tyler of Homestead, FL; granddaughter, Brenda Mack of Jordan, NY; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Chase, Stone, Presley, and Zachary Tyler, Devon Cummings, and Patrick Baca. Frances was born on May 28, 1923. She and her late husband, Henry, moved to Albuquerque in 1975. Frances was a member and past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. She was also an active member of the NRA. Mom had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. For many years, she enjoyed ballooning and loved and was loved by several of the local balloonists. At 75, she took her first white water rafting trip through the Taos Box. She loved to travel and had visited all 50 states at various times. It is a family joke that all you had to do was rattle your keys and she would be in the car. In her 70s, she enjoyed a 10-day land and sea tour of Alaska, and a 14-day cruise through the Panama Canal. She enjoyed all of her adventures with her family. She loved her family with all of her heart and we love her. Thank you, Mom, for your guidance and your unconditional love. We will keep you in our hearts always. Services will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2005, 11:30 a.m. at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor John Kennedy officiating.
