Dorothy Pomerenk Delaney, 96, a lifelong Albuquerque resident, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 2, 2005. Survivors include daughters, Jeannie Lennox and husband Gordon of Albuquerque, Ella D. Knopf and husband Karl of Westland, MI; daughter-in-law, Faith Delaney of Albuquerque; grandchildren Alan Lennox and wife Janie, Elaine Lennox, Jill Dahlstrom and husband Roy, Beth Weaver and husband Bryan, Timothy D. Knopf and wife Donna, John C. Knopf, Rebecca Sue Knopf, Mark D. Knopf and wife Shari, Rex Delaney and wife Claudia, Glen Delaney and wife Lisa; great-grandchildren, Daniel, David, Darren, Deborah, Dillon, Dorothy, and Drew Lennox, Ralph, Dan, Diane, Alan, and Karen Dahlstrom, Alexa, Chelsea, and Daniel Weaver, Allison, Gerrit, and Peter Knopf, Rachel, Kent, and Sarah Delaney. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and two sisters; her husband, Francis; son, Bruce; and grandson, Duane Delaney. She was a lifelong member of Garfield Gospel Chapel. Services will be held Monday, June 6, 2005, at 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel with Alan Lennox officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
