Esther Sanchez, age 71, passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, May 25, 2005. She is survived by her mother, Andrea Montoya; two daughters, Elizabeth Miers, Marie Apodaca and husband Tony; five grandchildren, Chris, Stephanie, Monica Miers and Rocky, Mariah Sanchez; three sisters, Josie DeSoto, Jean Benavidez, and Marcella Chavez; one brother, Don Montoya and wife Lupe. She will be very much missed. Services will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 140 Arenal SW, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 28, 3005 at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Miers, Rocky Sanchez, Albert Chavez, Danny Benavidez, Laurence Benavidez and Santanijo Sena. Honorary pallbearers will be James Benavidez and Jose Quintana.
