Marie Scharn Bowman, age 96, of Albuquerque, NM, died May 23, 2005. She was born in Rotterdam, Holland on March 24, 1909. She is survived by her daughter, Annette Sorensen and husband, Ken of Edgewood, NM; granddaughter, Christina Sorensen and fiance, Robert Albright of Albuquerque, NM and granddaughter, Clarissa Sorensen and her partner, Karen Unruh, also of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Alice and husband, Jim Jackson of LaJolla, CA; twin half-brothers, Dick Scharn and wife, Becky and Jack Scharn and wife Aileen, all of California. She was a gifted registered nurse and loved people, especially children, throughout her life. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper NE. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
