Melvin Leeroy Lucero, 56, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2005 in Clovis, NM. He was born September 18, 1948 to Augustine and Della (Nunez) Lucero in Alamillo, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Reynold "Rey" Lucero. He is survived by his daughters: Angela M. Sobien of Albuquerque, NM and Christina M. Garvin and husband, James of Albuquerque; brothers: Willie Lucero of Albuquerque; Henry Lucero of Belen, NM; and Augustine Lucero Jr. of Polvadera, NM; sisters: Anna Mae Fleming and husband, Nick of Socorro, NM and Evelyn L. Gallegos and husband, Ed of Albuquerque. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Gates officiating. Inurnment will be in the Polvadera Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Seadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
