Maria Isabel Sandoval, age 73, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Monday, May 16, 2005. Maria was born in Sile, NM; and was a resident of Pena Blanca, NM. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Sandoval and a son, Francisco Sandoval. Maria is survived by her loving children, Lillian Lovato and husband Robert, Gabriel Sandoval and wife Darlene, Lawrence Sandoval and wife Christine, Alex Lovato and wife Christine, Robert Sandoval and wife Rosana, Amalia Gonzales, Elena Sandoval, Arturo Sandoval and wife Suzette, Orlando Sandoval and wife Ervina, Julia Mares and husband Robert, Benito Sandoval and wife Jody, and Viola Cordero and husband Elias; 34 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; numerous other family members and friends. Maria Isabel will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Visitations will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca, NM; where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 a.m. also at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will follow at the Pena Blanca Community Cemetery.
