LETICIA (LETTIE) LUCERO, age 74, of Santa Fe, passed away at home with her loving family on Monday, May 16, 2005, following a brief illness. Leticia was born October 27, 1930 in Santa Fe, the loving daughter of Matias and Dolores Portillo. She married Augustin Lucero in Santa Fe who preceded her in death. Leticia retired as a nurse (LPN )from St. Vincent Hospital with 22 years of service. She was also a member of La Sagrada Familia. She is survived by her children: daughter, Margaret Lujan and husband Ernie; son, David Lucero, son, Gerald Lucero; daughter, Priscilla Gonzales and husband Joseph; son, Ronald Lucero; son, Greg Lucero and wife Kathy; grandchildren; Isaac Lujan and wife Allegra, Anthony Lujan, Melissa Valerio and husband Daniel, Jeremie Love Lucero, Melanie Gonzales, Felicia Gonzales and fiance Victor, Elise Anaya Lucero, Noelle Lucero and Jayden Lucero; great-grandson, Joshua Valerio; brother, Bennie Portillo; sister, Celia (Sally) Tenorio and numerous other nieces, nephews and relatives. Serving as pallbearers will be Isaac Lujan, Anthony Lujan, Victor Pena, Robert Farmer, Mark Armijo, and Daniel Valerio. Another Rosary will be recited Thursday, May 19, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2005, 12:00 noon at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
