Frank Joseph Valencic, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Lovelace Hospital. He was born in 1918 in Pittsburg, PA. Mr. Valencic was an Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from Sandia National Labs. Mr. Valencic was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He is survived by his three daughters, Louise Balzer, Lois Wiese and Linda Valencic; grandchildren, Lisa Polikov, Leslie Schuman, Frank Valencic, Mary Kay Chenier, Karen Ann Edelen; great-granddaughters, Aubry and Anika Chenier; great-grandson, Ryan Valencic; brothers, John Valencic of Las Vegas and Ed of Pittsburg; sister, Wilma Watson of Garland, TX; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Valencic was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Wilma Valencic, second wife, Frances Valencic; and son, Paul Valencic. Services will be Thursday, 12:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
